Fall Dining Update: Residential Dining Transition

*Due to the unique pandemic circumstances and multi-modal academic schedule this fall, the Spring 2020 COVID Emergency Discount Dollar Rollover policy has been amended.*

For students living on campus in traditional Quad housing, any Spring 2020 Discount Dollars will be rolled over to whichever meal plan they are enrolled in as per the requirements of the Housing License.

For students living in campus apartments or any other off campus housing, Spring 2020 Discount Dollars will be rolled over and available for use, even without the purchase of a new meal plan (as previously required), as long as a student remains enrolled in classes. If a student is unable to use those funds for the Fall 2020 semester for any reason, they will again roll to Spring 2021, as long as a student has maintained continuous enrollment. All remaining Discount Dollars of any sort will be forfeited at the end of the Spring Semester 2021, or the end of continuous enrollment, whichever is sooner.

The 2020-2021 meal plans are designed to provide maximum flexibility, value and convenience. These meal plans include declining balance funds called Discount Dollars that activate deep discounts at retail dining venues. All resident students are required to be on a meal plan. Meal plans are purchased per semester.

For University Apartment & Commuter Students.

The myChoice Meal Plan offers University apartment and commuter students--who are not required to have a meal plan--the opportunity to explore and experience the benefits, variety and convenience of dining on campus with an abridged version of the myFlex Meal Plan.  The myChoice plan has NO FIXED SWIPES at resident dining rooms! You can choose--100% of the time--where YOU want to dine; however, unlike the myFlex plan, the myChoice plan does not allow additional Discount Dollars to be added and only one myChoice Plan can be purchased per semester.

Below is information regarding Munch Money (optional plan add-on), Faculty and Staff Dining Plan options, Meal Prices without a plan and other important meal plan information.  If you have any additional questions not answered here please contact us here.
Munch Money is optional and does NOT come with a meal plan. Munch Money purchases are not subject to NYS sales tax. You can add Munch Money to purchase tax-free food/beverages at any campus dining location, 518 Market and vending machines.
